Who we are

RxMargin is a dispensary margin analytics service for NHS dispensing practices, run by Dr Edward Muffett and Dr Mark Piper, both UK GPs. Company registration details will be added here once incorporation completes. For any question about your data, email [email protected].

The enquiry form

The form on our homepage collects your name, practice, email address, an optional phone number and your message, so that we can reply to your enquiry. That is the only thing we use it for.

• Your enquiry is sent to the two founders by email via a Cloudflare worker. It is not stored in any database.
• We keep enquiry emails for as long as they are relevant to the conversation, then delete them.
• We do not add you to any marketing list, and we do not share or sell your details to anyone.

Practice data for customers

For practices that use the service, we process practice-level business and financial data (invoice lines, dispensing volumes, reimbursement figures) under a written data-processing agreement with the practice. It is aggregate dispensing data only: we do not seek, need or knowingly process any patient-identifiable data, and we do not connect to clinical systems.

The practice portal

Portal users sign in with their work email address using a one-time code, handled by Cloudflare Access. The sign-in uses a strictly necessary session cookie from Cloudflare; nothing is used for tracking.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

Your rights

You have rights under UK GDPR, including access to, correction of and erasure of your personal data. To exercise them, email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
